Healthy Lifestyles Programme
The Healthy Lifestyles Programme of weekly activities is designed to increase
the number of people taking part in sport or physical activity. It
particularly targets:


- young people
- the over 50s
- women
- ethnic minorities
- people with disabilities
- new mothers
The aim is to improve participants' social and interaction
skills, develop their fitness levels and create an environment
where people can enjoy new sporting activities.
Activities range from:
- yoga to basketball
- short-mat bowls to keep fit classes
- line dance to badminton
There is also a "Walk to
Health" group, enjoying weekly walks
(pdf 157 kb) across local parks.
The Healthy Lifestyle programme currently caters for more than
1200 people each month and detailed information on activities
available can be found within the latest brochure.

- Pilates Class on
Wednesdays. Join us at the Town Hall from 3.15 pm to 4 pm.
- Salsacise will help you
to dance yourself fit. Two classes run every Monday and
Friday.
