Current Exhibition At Redbridge Museum
Exploring 20th Century Redbridge
2 November 2009 to 27 February 2010
What do a set of Victorian chimney
sweep brushes, a WW2 gas mask, a 1970s ‘Space Age’ TV and Bollywood
film posters have in common?
They are all on show in Redbridge Museum’s new
exhibition Exploring 20th Century Redbridge.
The exhibition features 100 objects from
Redbridge Museum’s collections to uncover 100 years of local
history. Beginning in the year 1900 with a set of chimney sweep
brushes and ending with memories of the Millennium celebrations in
2000, the displays highlights many of the key moments of the last
century.
