Help shape the future of the High Road: Crossrail
Corridor Area Action Plan
As part of the continuing preparation of its Local Development Framework, the Council is
preparing an Area Action Plan (AAP) for the
future of the High Road corridor, running from the eastern edge of
Ilford Town Centre to the boundary with the London Borough of
Barking and Dagenham in Chadwell Heath.
The AAP will set out a planning framework for
the area and aims to improve the overall character and quality of
the High Road, and maximise the potential benefits of future
Crossrail stations located at Seven Kings, Goodmayes and Chadwell
Heath. It must be in general conformity and consistent with
Redbridge’s adopted Local Development
Documents, particularly the Core Strategy and Borough Wide
Primary Policies Development Plan Documents.
