Transfer to secondary schools in Redbridge 

Important

Online admissions for children transferring from primary to secondary school, that is from year six to year seven, in September 2010 is now closed.

If you wish to apply for a place at one of our secondary schools, you will need to complete a paper application CAF (common application form) from the booklet which is also on this website only if you live in Redbridge.

If you live in a different Borough you will need to apply to your own Local Authority for the secondary schools you prefer.

There are 17 secondary schools in Redbridge

  • nine community comprehensive schools
  • two foundation comprehensive schools
  • four denominational comprehensive schools
  • two community grammar schools.
