The Reference library is situated in the central library. It is free to use. Reference
services include:
Books and information
We can help you with:
- Education – at all levels, including UK
college prospectuses
- Law (your rights and legislation)
- Statistics
- Business and commercial information
- Information about the European Union, the
Single Market and the Euro
- Reports and Parliamentary documents
- Local council agendas, minutes and other
publications
- Places of interest in Redbridge, London and
Essex, and guides to UK holiday destinations
We also stock directories, dictionaries,
encyclopaedias and other reference works on most subjects
(including medical and pharmaceutical); atlases, rail timetables,
hotel guides and telephone directories.
We answer enquiries in person at the
library, by telephone or by e-mail.
If we cannot find the answer to your question, we will put you
in touch with another information service that can.
