Risk Management Policy Statement

It is the Council's policy to manage the risks placed upon it by identifying, evaluating and controlling risks to eliminate or reduce them to acceptable levels.

The reasons for good risk management are:

  • preserve an enhance service delivery
  • ensure compliance with statutory obligations
  • protect the reputation of the Authority
  • protect the Authority's assets
  • safeguard our clients. pupils, Member, employees and all other persons to whom the Authority has a duty of care
